In another existence, I sing like Julie Andrews.<br /><br />Mrs. Banks always reminds me of a character in Bleak House. I don't remember her name, but her kids "tumble" up instead of grow up and she's consumed with a letter-writing campaign for the children in Africa. Which in turn reminds me of something I heard about Kate Chopin, typing away, her six children milling about, ignored, around her.<br /><br />Oh no. This is starting to strike a little too close to home...<br /><br />Which I suppose is the point of your post.
